Workouts Announcement – COVID-19 Update

Unfortunately due to the recent Regional Stay At Home Order in effect starting Sunday, December 6 at 11:59pm, the TCSD Board of Directors has decided to place all TCSD sponsored workouts on hold again until further notice.  The hope is that the county will be in a place to re-open again after the required three week period, at which time we will hopefully be able to re-start group workouts based on the recommendations.

During this time, we are encouraging all members to refrain from working out in groups of any size so that we can do our part to help the county re-open as soon as possible.  Key parts of the order are copied below for your reference.

Therefore to help our members stay motivated during this difficult time, the club is offering FREE copies of the book Awaken the Olympian Within: Stories from America’s Greatest Olympic Motivators to any member who wants one.  If you are interested in reading this inspiring book or would like to give one as a gift to the athlete in your life, please contact

California Department of Public Health will evaluate the adult ICU bed capacity for each Region and identify on any Regions for which that capacity is less than 15%. When that capacity is less than 15%, the following terms (the Terms of this Order) will apply*.
All gatherings with members of other households are prohibited in the Region except as expressly permitted herein. All individuals living in the Region shall stay home or at their place of residence except as necessary to conduct activities associated with the operation, maintenance, or usage of critical infrastructure, as required by law, or as specifically permitted in this order.Nothing in this Order prevents any number of persons from the same household from leaving their residence, lodging, or temporary accommodation, as long as they do not engage in any interaction with (or otherwise gather with) any number of persons from any other household, except as specifically permitted herein. The Terms of this Order shall remain in place for at least three weeks from the date the order takes effect in a Region and shall continue until CDPH’s four-week projections of the Region’s total available adult ICU bed capacity is greater than or equal to 15%. Four-week adult ICU bed capacity projections will be made approximately twice a week, unless CDPH determines that public health conditions merit an alternate projection schedule. If after three weeks from the effective date of the Terms of this Order in a Region, CDPH’s four-week projections of the Region’s total available adult ICU bed capacity is greater than or equal to 15%, the Terms of this Order shall no longer apply to the Region.
