 ATTENTION ALL ABILITY LEVELS:
RACE FOR TCSD AT THE USAT CLUB NATIONALS
On Saturday October 18th, the 2008 USAT Triathlon Club National Championship competition will be held at the Pumpkinman Triathlon at Lake Mead just outside of Las Vegas. There will be three separate races: Sprint distance, Olympic distance, and Half distance. You score points for your team just by competing in any of the distances, so you do not have to be fast or experienced in order to score points for TCSD! Extra points are awarded for your club for high finishes in any of the three races. For the first time we are hoping to have a large and organized presence at this National Competition. For those of you who have not done your first triathlon “road trip” yet, this is a perfect opportunity. For TCSD this event will mean a lot of social fun, camaraderie, and team spirit. The event may sell out so we will need to start organizing rosters and registration very soon.

SIGN UP! There are limited slots for this race (see info pdf below for more details). The USAT Club Nationals rotates to different regions in the country every year. This year it is in our region which means that in addition to TCSD, the OC Tri Club, LA Tri Club, Inland Inferno Tri Club, Las Vegas Tri Club, Arizona Tri Clubs, Sacramento Tri Club, etc, will all be competing for about 800 general entry slots. So sign up soon! You must register individually at http://www.bbsctri.com/pumpkin.html. (The club cannot register for you).

HOTELS: There is an excellent hotel special at the Hacienda which is very close to the start line. $130 for two nights including tax. Can't beat that! There is also camping available right by the start. Hotel details available in the info pdf below.
