BIKE
The Bike will be an out and back route, coming out of the transition area.  You will make a Right onto Wueste Rd and take that until it comes to the intersection of Olympic Pkwy / Lake Crest Dr.  Make a right onto Lake Crest Dr. Head to the next intersection and make a right onto what is the continuation of Wueste Rd. Take Wueste Rd. until it ends and make a Right onto Otay Lakes Rd.
You will follow Otay Lakes Rd. out around the lake, continuing out approx. 5.9 until the turnaround, which will be at the entrance to a parking lot for a skydiving company.  We will have the turnaround marked.

**Please note: this course is open.  You will be riding on the shoulder of the road. I drove the course with Mike from Pulse and traffic is very minimal, but there is still the occasional car.  Please exercise all the caution you would anytime you ride. You will be passing through three intersections on the way out and the same three on the way back.  Please review the map below so you know where the intersections are**

RUN
Everyone will return back into the parking lot and back to transition for the second run.  We have a second run course that is a single track trail heading out the south end of the parking lot.  It is very xterra-ish though, so the decision to use that or to use the first run will be made race morning based on conditions.

As always, we could definitely use volunteers for signing people in on race day, set-up and course direction.  If you can help, please email me a  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This event will be chip timed.  If you do not have a chip, you may purchase one at our online store and we will have it for you on race day.  We will have a minimal amount of loaner chips that we will be able to use on a first come, first serve basis.

Thanks to Mike and Liam from Pulse for the help with the course.  They will be offering deals to participants that day down at their store.

Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Good Luck and Happy Racing,
