Our February Duathlon brings you through the beautiful rolling hills of some of San Diego's newest neighborhoods. The motto here is what goes down must go up!

The Duathlon will start at Black Mountain Ranch Community Park as your transition area. The runs will be on the scenic trails branching off from the park. The first run will be approximately 2 miles on designated trails. The bike portion is just over 11.5 miles long in a loop through the communities of Santaluz, Del Sur and 4S Ranch. There are nice bikes lanes with no left turns in traffic. You will finish the duathlon with the 2 mile run along the trail. As with all the sections, remember the motto...this is a leg burner. It's a challenging and hilly course, but very doable if you work within your level.

Date: February 12th

Start Time: 7:00AM

Location: Black Mountain Ranch Community Park

Directions: From the 56 freeway exit Black Mountain Rd and drive north. At the intersection of Carmel Valley Rd. turn right and go about a quarter of a mile and make a left into the parking lot.  The transition area will be at the northern end of the parking lot.
