Flower Pot Bike Ride
Early morning, midweek, 15 mile, 90 minute, uncoached, unhosted, unled, bike ride around La Jolla includes a climb (1000ft) up to the cross at the top of Mt Soledad for pictures. Descend down Nautilus back to Flower Pot. Suggest be able to climb Torrey Pines (400ft) twice to prepare for the climb. 7530 Fay Avenue La Jolla, CA, 92037. Park on Fay, across the street from Flower Pot Coffee Shop. 2 hour parking after 8am. Wheels rolling 6:15am. About 15 miles, 1000 feet of climb. Fay ave to Wind and Sea, to Mission Blvd, to Pacific Beach Drive, to Riviera, to Crown Point drive, to Rose Creek Bike Path, to Soledad Mtn rd up to the cross. Descend Nautilus to Flower Pot Coffee Shop.
