DESCRIPTION:This week we’ll be at La Jolla Shores. The Party Wave is the non-competitive\, no-drop swim along the swim course. We strongly recommend Party People have been to several of our normal BOWS events and feel comfortable swimming at least 500m without stopping. If that’s not you\, cmon out anyway for a great evening with TCSD. Please see the aquathlon calendar notes for more details. \n\nTCSD's flagship swim session to help you make the transition from the pool to the joys of open water swimming. TCSD Membership is not required for participation (though\, with all TCSD offers\, why wouldn't you join?!). All are welcome\, whether you're simply looking for a swim opportunity with other great people or you're interested in direct work with our expert leaders. Newer swimmers should have a pair of goggles and be able to swim at least 100m without stopping. A brightly coloured swim cap is required\, but if you don't have one we have plenty new ones to share. Wet suits are not required\, though the water can be brisk and wet suits make you faster\, safer\, and warmer. Folks tend to start arriving around 5:45 to get ready and catch up with friends. Toes in the water promptly at 6pm. PLEASE NOTE: BOWS joins with the club for the TCSD Aquathlons from May through September. Please keep an eye on the calendar and go to the aquathlon site rather than our normal Bonita Cove.
