Beaker Concepts, Inc takes its cues and direction from ideas that we just think should be…well I mean great products. In everything we make there is an aspect of why didn’t I think of that first going on. Every product we make is designed, developed and tested by us, no foreign catalogs being used here. Our HydroTail™ was literarily made in the wind tunnel as our prototype broke during a test and when it broke the aero factor became more apparent. Our cool looking idea became an aerodynamic advantage for us, no way would this have happened had we just faxed a drawing somewhere and got a finished product.

March Club Race Report .:. .:.

Waking up to thunder on the morning of a triathlon never can mean well for the turn out.  So it wasn’t too surprising that of the 140 who signed up to participate in the March club race, only about 30 ended up coming out to Fiesta Island for what looked like a dreadful morning.  However, for those who did the day turned out to be a real treat.

Marathoner is no shoo-in to buy the latest shoes

Reflecting his Japanese culture, Tsuyoshi Yoshino politely asks you to remove your shoes upon entering his San Diego home. If the aspiring running coach has his way, you'll also take off your thick-soled running shoes for some of your workouts.

A former 2:43 marathoner, at Boston no less, Yoshino prefers to run with nothing between his feet and the pavement.

"It just feels natural," he said.

Yoshino, 33, first sampled barefoot running on July 28, 2005, the day before his birthday. Having read literature on the subject, "it just all made sense," he said.
