Casual coffee ride from Starbucks in Del Mar to the Carlsbad Starbuck (30 miles) or to Oceanside Harbor, Tony's Sports Bar & Grill for 40 miles. Uncoached, unhosted, no designated leader for now. All levels, speeds, distances welcome but be aware This is NOT a "no-drop" ride---Riders must be comfortable with frequent start/stops, gearing, clipping in and out of pedals and riding in traffic. The course is easy, up the coast, turn around, back down the coast. Full rides are about 30 to Carlsbad or 40 miles to Oceanside but you can adjust your mileage by turning around at any point. We roll PROMPTLY at 8:01am so arrive early to park/get your gear on. Sometimes some will start in Mission Bay 6:45am to make Del Mar by 8am for a 13 mile pre-ride.
