Triathlon cycling is not your typical ride. From endurance rides to all-out sprints, this race segment is the one you will spend the most time on. Those new to the sport will want to pay particular attention to understanding equipment, proper bike fit, and technique.
Most athletes that enter triathlon come from a running background or at least have tried a 5k. Running in triathlon is a different experience and planning a race strategy is important for a strong finish.

What is the different between a "Workout" and a "Meet-up" on the calendar?
Workouts are "official" TCSD events. Both certified coaches and workout leaders will have a specific workout for you to do, you just show up. "Meet-ups" are member-led and will not have a specific workout plan. They are a more casual way to meet up with members while you train. Any member can add a Meet-up to the calendar.
