Bill Gleason's OWS Workout
TCSD's Thursday Open water swim workout is put on by Bill Gleason - Gleason Endurance Coaching. Gleasoncoaching.com.
This workout will prepare you to race in triathlon race settings, by simulating race conditions in a group workout. This is a moderately intense, interval workout covering racing skills, drills, race paced swimming and speed work. This is not a technique clinic.
Every other Thursday during the season, except the for the Thurs night of the monthly TCSD Aquathlons, May - Sept.
Warm Up: @ 5:45 PM, workout begins promptly @6:00 PM.
We will break up into groups by swim experience and ability. All beginners are welcome! Athletes need to be able to swim about 400m/yds continuously in the pool, before coming out to this workout.
